FMGE (also called MCI Screening Test) is mandatory for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India who have obtained an MBBS degree from a foreign medical institution to practice medicine in India. Passing FMGE is required for registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree from a foreign medical institution recognised by the Medical Council of the respective country
