प्रौद्योगिकी विकास एवं प्रदर्शन कार्यक्रम
Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation
Launched in 1987 to bridge the gap between laboratory research and field application in agriculture and rural industries, the TDDP funded frontline demonstrations of new technologies in crop production, post-harvest management, and agro-processing. It worked through ICAR institutes and KVKs (Krishi Vigyan Kendras) to demonstrate technologies directly on farmers' fields. The programme was subsumed into the broader National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP) from 1999.
