गहन क्षेत्र विकास कार्यक्रम
Ministry of Food and Agriculture
The Intensive Area Development Programme of 1955 was an experimental phase during the Second Five Year Plan to trial concentrated resource delivery in selected areas before the larger IADP rollout. It focused agricultural extension, credit, and input supply on small pilot territories to study impact before scaling. The programme was the immediate predecessor of the Ford Foundation-assisted IADP and provided critical learnings for India's agricultural modernisation.
